In order to be eligible to play in the NCDGC and in NCDGC Qualifier events, students must be enrolled in at least six credit hours at the time of the tournament at the institution they wish to compete for. Students enrolled in three credit hours at the time of the tournament can also be eligible if they have taken twelve total credit hours in the last year.
Students who graduate in the Fall of the current school year are eligible to compete in National Championships and Qualifier events the following Spring.
The National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships relies on the Professional Disc Golf Association's (PDGA) standards and qualifications of Touring Professionals. Only those who meet standards and qualify as a 2013 Touring Professional are NOT be eligible to participate.
